This scanning service is able to recreate the missing data for many types of boards. They use a destructive process, to be able to see and scan all the layers of a PCB. This is a time-consuming process that involves removing layers and scanning into digital data. Once the digital data is created it must be converted into Gerber which is used by most board shops. This data also has to be completely checked over to ensure nothing is lost in the conversion and scans.
